Overnight

CPAP backup without a generator

A typical CPAP is a 30–60 W load. That is a few hundred watt-hours for the night — well inside a carry-size LiFePO4 station.

How many watt-hours a night

At 40 W for 8 hours you need about 320 Wh at the machine. Inverter loss and a heated humidifier push that up. Budget 400–500 Wh for a heated hose night, less if you turn heat off. The EcoFlow RIVER 2 Pro at 768 Wh covers that with room for a phone and a router.

Check your machine’s DC input. Some CPAPs can run from a 12 V port and skip the inverter, which wastes less energy. If you use the AC brick, stay within the station’s continuous watts — every unit in this shop is well above a CPAP’s draw.

When to buy bigger

Stay on the RIVER 2 Pro if the only overnight load is the machine plus a phone. Step to a 1 kWh Jackery if you also want a mini-fridge or more lights. Step to 2 kWh if the same outage has to keep a full-size fridge cold.

This is not medical advice. Confirm your machine’s power draw in its manual, including humidifier and heated tube, before you rely on a station for therapy.
