The drone you receive
This listing is the HOVERAir X1 PROMAX Standard, manufacturer part SP06H006, in black. It is not the X1, the X1 PRO, or the AQUA. The Power, Extended, Controller, Cycling, and all-in-one bundles are different boxes. Those add batteries, a charger, a case, or the Beacon controller. None of that is in the Standard kit.
HoverAir describes the Standard kit as the X1 PROMAX with its battery and a USB-C cable. A wall charger is not included. Any USB Power Delivery charger can charge it. With the separate charging hub, HoverAir rates one battery at about 45 minutes to full.
The PROMAX uses a 1/1.3-inch sensor, a 107° lens, and a 2-axis gimbal. Stills are 48 MP. Video on this model is 8K at 30 fps and 4K at 120 fps. Internal storage is 64 GB, and the slot also takes an SD card. Weight is 192 g (6.8 oz) with the battery. Folded size is 105 × 149 × 34 mm. Unfolded size is 173 × 149 × 39 mm. The battery is 1,920 mAh. HoverAir rates flight time at about 16 minutes, and wind resistance at level 5, up to 24 mph. It is not waterproof. With OmniTerrain on, HoverAir says it can fly over water.
Basic flight does not need a separate remote. The Beacon and joystick controller is an extra, and it is how you get a live preview and manual sticks. Follow the flying rules where you are, in the US and in Canada, including ski-resort rules. In many countries this weight sits under a registration limit. That still depends on the place and the flight.
HoverAir’s warranty on the flying camera is 12 months. The battery is covered for 12 months or 200 cycles, whichever comes first. A crash, or other user error, is outside that warranty. This shop does not sell HOVERCare, and HoverAir’s 15-day return is not this shop’s policy.
