How it works
These are real nixie tubes: gas inside glass that glows when it is driven. They are not an IPS screen painted to look like tubes. Time, date, and an alarm are set with the rear buttons. You can choose 12-hour or 24-hour. Digits cycle on their own so one numeral does not sit lit for days. An LED under-glow is adjustable. A short power cut is covered by the on-board backup. It does not use Wi-Fi.
The case is about 7.1 × 2.4 × 3.9 in (180 × 60 × 100 mm). Handmade in Ukraine. The high voltage that lights the tubes stays inside the closed case. Do not open it, and do not touch the circuitry while it is powered. The tubes are glass. Do not drop the clock or bend a tube. Canada orders may need a plug adapter for the included 12 V supply.
