The sampler you receive
This listing is the Roland SP-404MKII sampler. The gig-bag bundle and the KDJ Records limited edition are different products. Roland Cloud sample packs are extra. The sampler works with the sounds already on it.
Roland’s reference specs list 32-voice polyphony, samples and patterns stored in the internal 16 GB (that figure includes the preload), and a maximum sample length of about 16 minutes. Effects are onboard. Inputs cover line, mic, and guitar. Outputs cover line and two headphone jacks. MIDI is on stereo mini jacks. USB-C carries audio and MIDI. An SDHC card can be used for backup and file transfer. The card is not included.
The AC adaptor is in the box, along with the quick-start leaflet. Six AA batteries are not. Roland rates alkaline batteries at about 2.5 hours and Ni-MH batteries at about 3.5 hours. USB-C bus power needs a port that can supply 1.5 A or more. Size is 178 × 276 × 71 mm. Weight is 1.1 kg (2 lb 7 oz) without the adaptor. A free editor app is optional.
