The unit you receive
This listing is the Siglent SDL1020X-E. It is a single-channel programmable DC electronic load. It is not a power supply, and it does not charge a battery. The energy it pulls is turned into heat. It is not the SDL1020X, which reads back at 0.1 mV and 0.1 mA. It is not a 300 W model.
The input rating, from 0 °C to 40 °C, is 0–150 V, 0–30 A, and 200 W. Current ranges are 0–5 A and 0–30 A. Voltage ranges in constant-voltage mode are 0–36 V and 0–150 V. It needs at least 0.15 V at 5 A, and 0.9 V at 30 A, before it can draw the set current. Readback resolution on this model is 1 mV and 1 mA. Constant-current accuracy is ±(0.1% + 0.1% of full scale). Constant-resistance range is 0.03 Ω to 10 kΩ.
Static modes are CC, CV, CR, and CP. Dynamic mode reaches 25 kHz in CC, 12.5 kHz in CP, and 0.5 Hz in CV. Current slew rate is 0.001 A/µs to 2.5 A/µs. Voltage and current can be measured at up to 500 kHz. Four-wire sense is built in. Protection covers over-power, over-current, over-voltage, over-temperature, and reverse voltage. Over-power protection on this model is about 210 W. A list can hold up to 100 steps, and a program can hold 50 groups.
The screen is a 3.5-inch TFT. The front panel has a USB host port for a flash drive. Remote control is RS-232, USB, and LAN, using the current Siglent software download. A USB-GPIB adapter is not included. External analog control uses a 0–10 V signal. The 30 A test leads are an optional accessory, and they are not in the box.
Line power is 110 V or 220 V, ±10%, 50/60 Hz. A switch on the rear panel selects 110 V or 220 V. A 120 V outlet uses the 110 V setting. The fuse is T315 mA, 250 V. Size is 256 × 115 × 410 mm, width by height by depth. Weight is 5.8 kg, 12.8 lb. The standard accessories are a USB cable, a quick start, a calibration certificate, and a power cord.
Siglent Technologies NA publishes a 3-year warranty on the instrument, excluding accessories, when the unit is bought through Siglent America or an approved North American distributor. That period starts on the authorized invoice. This shop does not add its own warranty. A dealer’s return window is not this shop’s policy.
