The unit you receive
This listing is the Siglent SDS804X HD. It is the 70 MHz, 4-channel model. The 2-channel SDS802X HD, the 100 MHz models, and the 200 MHz models are different products. The Saleae Logic 8 already sold here is a USB logic analyzer. This oscilloscope is a separate instrument with its own display.
Sample rate and memory are shared. Datasheet EN01D rates this model at 2 GSa/s and 50 Mpts on one channel, 1 GSa/s and 25 Mpts on two channels, and 500 MSa/s and 10 Mpts when all four channels are on. Siglent rates the capture rate at 80,000 waveforms per second in normal mode and 500,000 in sequence mode. The screen is a 7-inch capacitive touch display, 1024×600. The included serial trigger and decode covers I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, and LIN.
The box is the oscilloscope, one USB cable, a quick start, four PB470 passive probes, a calibration certificate, and a power cord. Each PB470 is 1x/10x. Siglent rates it at 6 MHz in the 1x position and 70 MHz in the 10x position. These probes are not a mains probe. The 16 digital channels need the SLA1016 logic probe and the SDS800XHD-16LA license. The SAG1021I waveform generator, the SDS800XHD-PA power-analysis software, and the DF2001A deskew fixture are also sold separately.
Power is 100–240 V, 50/60 Hz. Siglent rates consumption at 80 W maximum, 40 W typical, and 4 W in standby. Size is 312 × 151 × 132.6 mm, about 12.3 × 5.9 × 5.2 inches, including the knobs and feet. Net weight is 2.6 kg, about 5.7 lb. Siglent Technologies NA publishes a 3-year warranty on the instrument and 1 year on accessories when the unit is bought through Siglent America or an approved North American distributor. That period starts on the authorized invoice. This shop does not add its own warranty. A dealer’s return window is not this shop’s policy.
